Rocket Spinning is the concept of causing a rocket to spin to keep its path in one direction without using the drag of large fins. This has been used in practice for years and is used currently by existing companies. The idea was first used by Europeans in the 1800s to make rockets accurate, and is currently in use by UP Aerospace. Its can be acheived by rifling the nozzle (like a gun barrel), by launching it with a curve, or by having small curved fins.

UP Aerospace Edit

UP Aerospace offers proprietary systems for simple and reliable transportation and recovery of space-borne payloads and experiments. Payload options span our patent-pending PTS-4 and PTS-10 units that accommodate up to 243 cu. in. and 691 cu. in., and four and ten pounds, respectively.
